October Walk

It was a beautiful, sunny day late in October when Colton and I decided to go for a walk.  Mica was with Grammy, so it was just the two of us.  We grabbed some sweaters and our cameras and headed down to the Falls to see what we could see.

The River Trail

Gosh, it seems like ages since I last posted!  But, with regular life, plus all the holiday preparations, there just doesn't seem to be much time for blogging.  Or proofing.  Or shooting, for that matter.  I'm looking forward to the new year when things get back to their regular pace and I have more time for photography.

Here are a few snapshots I took back in October when the kids and I took our first walk on the River Trail.  The trail is great, the scenery is beautiful, and the sound of the river is very calming.  It was our first walk on the trail, but it won't be our last!

Ducks! No, birds!

Mica got a big kick out of the ducks.

 

As soon as she spotted them she got all excited and squealed, "Bird!  Bird!" 

"They're called ducks, Mica.  Ducks!" I said, excited for her.

She looked at me like I was a complete idiot and corrected me, "No!  Bird!  Bird!"
