The Last of Our Walk on the Beach

As we made our way down the beach, we cam across this cool log. The kids had a hoot exploring it.

As we neared the log, it really looked like some kind of big monster...

Tell me I'm not the only one who sees a bird here...

She realized just how high up she was and decided to crawl the rest of the way.

More Walking on the Beach

Who can walk on the beach without throwing a few rocks in the water? Certainly not these two!

One "balmy" day at the end of February the kids and I took a fun walk on the beach. There was still snow covering the ground everywhere, but the lake was very low, so there was lots of snow-free beach for us to explore!

Happy New Year!

Well, here we are - it's New Years Eve and in only a few hours it'll be 2008! I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of you who read my blog a very Happy New Year and all the best to you and yours in 2008! And I want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who have (and continue to) supported and encouraged me and my photography!

What does 2008 hold for Hockeyberry Pie? It's hard to say. At the very least, I hope it holds lots of fabulous shooting opportunities for me to take advantage of.
