Our First Family Sled Ride

Here are a few more snaps from late February.  We had so much fun this day!  It was the first real sled ride with both kiddos and it was a blast!

Frosty

We came across this beautiful hoar frost when we were snowmobiling in late February.  The ice crystals were enormous, and they were absolutely everywhere; sparkling in the sunshine like a zillion diamonds in the snow.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to capture the true beauty in the photographs... but I tried!

I was SO wishing I had my macro lens with me that day, but I'd left it at home.  Maybe next time...

February Sunshine

Do these things go together?  Not really, but humor me.  These were taken in mid-Feb (yay! I'm catching up!) and were the first shots with my new (to me) Macro lens (such a fun toy!).

Added a little texture to this last one - just for fun. :)
