Happy New Year!

Well, here we are - it's New Years Eve and in only a few hours it'll be 2008!  I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of you who read my blog a very Happy New Year and all the best to you and yours in 2008!  And I want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who have (and continue to) supported and encouraged me and my photography! 

What does 2008 hold for Hockeyberry Pie?  It's hard to say.  At the very least, I hope it holds lots of fabulous shooting opportunities for me to take advantage of.

Our First Snowfall

Just a few snaps from the first dusting of snow back in November.  Colton was thrilled and set to work "plowing" with his shovel!  Mica, on the other hand, was NOT impressed and kept saying, "Yucky!  Yucky!"

October Walk

It was a beautiful, sunny day late in October when Colton and I decided to go for a walk.  Mica was with Grammy, so it was just the two of us.  We grabbed some sweaters and our cameras and headed down to the Falls to see what we could see.

The River Trail

Gosh, it seems like ages since I last posted!  But, with regular life, plus all the holiday preparations, there just doesn't seem to be much time for blogging.  Or proofing.  Or shooting, for that matter.  I'm looking forward to the new year when things get back to their regular pace and I have more time for photography.

Here are a few snapshots I took back in October when the kids and I took our first walk on the River Trail.  The trail is great, the scenery is beautiful, and the sound of the river is very calming.  It was our first walk on the trail, but it won't be our last!
