I've Moved!

Well, not me, but my blog has moved!  My HockeyberryPie blog is now Jennifer Hawes Photography {the blog}.  Same fun photos, just a different name and address.  Please check out my new site at http://blog.jhawesphotography.ca/blog/  and don't forget to leave a comment and tell me what you think!

I just wanted to show off these storyboards from a recent session with the S Kids.  (I've had to wait until now because the boards were a birthday gift for their Grandma and I didn't want to ruin the surprise - I hope she loves them!)

More shots from March.  These were taken just a few days before my little guy's 5th birthday.  I wanted to get a few shots that really showed who he is now, because before I know it I'll be taking his 10th birthday photos!

It was a nice day, but still quite cold - which is why he's all bundled up.  He's always up for some pictures, and we had a lot of fun that afternoon!

Anyone who knows my kid knows that this was the perfect prop for his photos!

Beautiful Wedding

I was very lucky to have the opportunity to shoot a beautiful wedding last month.  I was honored to be working as a second shooter for the very talented Lana of  Life Moments Photography (www.lifemoments.ca ).  I know it was really the bride and groom's big day, but it was was a big day for me too because it was my first time shooting a wedding.  It was fun and exhausting and a great learning experience for me - Lana is such a pro and I learned a lot! 

The wedding was lovely - but how could it not be with such a gorgeous couple? Thanks for letting me share your special day!

Our Newest Addition

Meet the newest addition to our family:


She's 8 weeks old and oh-so cute!  We got her from a rescue shelter, and they're not positive, but they believe she's a shepard/golden retriever X.  The kids picked her out and they're so in love with her.  Colton named her... wait for it... Tonka! :)
